PE and Sport Premium

PE and Sport Premium is a government subsidy provided to state-maintained schools in England.  It is intended to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport and to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.  Eligible schools receive an annual grant of £16,000 plus an additional payment of £10 per pupil in Years 1 to 6.

Granby Primary School are due to receive £19,570 PE and Sport Premium funding in 2021-22.  Due to limitations caused by the Covid-19 pandemic last year, we have also carried forward part of last year's grant, meaning that we have a total of £22,965 to invest in improvements to PE and sport at Granby this academic year.
