At Granby we believe that it is important to listen to the pupils' voice and we value their contribution. This is part of our committment to British Values. Each year, two children from each class in KS2 are elected to serve as representatives on our School Council. The Council meets regularly to discuss school issues and put forward the ideas of their class.
Our School Council's achievements include:
Raising money for Children in Need and other charities
Identifying books they would like to have available in their classrooms to support reading for pleasure
Designing a Buddy Stop to befriend children on the playground
Developing strategies to promote anti-bullying
