October 13th maybe unlucky for some but for Lower key Stage 2 it wasn’t!
They were very fortunate to have a visit from CAFOD – Catholic Agency For Overseas Development. Maggie Mairura talked to Year 3 and 4 about the work that CAFOD does; providing emergency aid and longer term development for some of the poorest people in the world. 3C and 3CG then took part in a workshop where they learnt more about the role of CAFOD and heard about Vernoica’s story. All the pupils learnt the importance of being a good neighbour and looking out for others.
