Staff well-being is very important to us at Granby and we survey staff annually to help us monitor stress levels. Staff and governors are then involved in drawing up an action plan to improve any stress-related issues which arise.
In 2015 and 2016, we used a well being monitoring tool developed by the Health and Safety Executive. Feedback from staff and governors suggested that the tool was not best suited to a school context and in 2017 a questionnaire based on the National Union of Teachers (NUT) well-being ready reckoner was used.
In the summer term 2017, one of the governors undertook a staff well-being monitoring visit as part of the audit / action plan process and the report of that visit will be added to this page.
