PE & Sport Premium

What is PE and Sport Premium?

PE and Sport Premium is a government subsidy provided to state-maintained schools in England. It is intended to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport and to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles. Eligible schools receive an annual grant of £16,000 plus an additional payment of £10 per pupil in Years 1 to 6.

 

Impact of PE and Sport Premium in 2022-23

Schools who receive PE and Sport Premium are required to publish details of how this has been spent by 31st July of the academic year in which it was allocated. The document below provides details of how Granby Primary School spent the £19,550 funding it received in 2022-23 and the impact that this had on pupils' PE, physical activity and sport participation.

PE and Sport Premium Allocation for 2023-24

Granby Primary School are due to receive £19,580 PE and Sport Premium funding in 2023-24. A report on the impact of this grant will be published on the school's website on or before 31st July, 2024.
