Welcome to 3M Fireflies’ Class Page

Our class teacher is Miss Moore and our assistant teacher is Miss Farrell. Miss Tovey teaches us on alternate Thursday mornings and afternoons.

We can’t wait to share our learning with you throughout the year!

History: Ancient Egyptians - here are some photos from our visit to New walk Museum to learn about the Ancient Civilisation.

Design Technology: we have practised cross stitch and appliqué and made our own cushions. Here are a few examples.

Geography: we explored OS maps and symbols and drew our own maps.

English: Here be dragons! We read 'Tell me a Dragon' by Jackie Morris and were inspired to make clay dragon eyes

Maths: we have made a great start to Year 3 with lots of practical maths representing and working with 3-numbers up to 1000.
