Welcome to the 4W Hedgehog's class page!

Miss Walsh is our class teacher and Miss Fowkes supports us in class. Miss Hemsley teaches 4W on alternate Monday mornings and afternoons.

This is where amazing work from children in our class will be displayed, as well as photos from some of the fantastic learning opportunities in Year 4.

Roman Day

Roman Day! Year 4 were visited by a Roman soldier during the autumn term. He shared lots of information with us about what it would have been like to be a Roman soldier, how they lived and what they had to do. He also taught us how to march like a Roman soldier would have done.  He then came into our classroom and we looked at some Roman items. These included: a necklace, a helmet, cups made from bone, part of an axe and more.  In the afternoon, we got the chance to hold swords and feel how heavy Roman armour was.
