Our class teacher is Miss Moore and our assistant teachers are Mrs McMillan and Miss Dunstan. Miss Tovey teaches us on Friday afternoons.
We can’t wait to share our learning with you throughout the year!
Maths: Barvember! Every day during the month of November, we are challenging ourselves to complete a maths problem using bar models. We’re really enjoying it!
Art & Design: we have created our own Ancient Egyptian style self-portraits
English: we made dragon eyes from clay then wrote some instructions for how to make them as our Cold Writing task.
National Poetry Day 2023: we learnt a poem to celebrate Poetry Day. This year’s theme is ‘Refuge’ and this poem is called ‘On the Move again’ by Micheal Rosen.
Geography: we enjoyed looking for map symbols on Ordnance Survey maps and identifying them using the key.
DT Textiles: we designed our own cushions and decorated them using appliqué and cross stitch.
English: Here be dragons!🐉🐲
Maths: we started the year by adding and subtracting ones, tens and hundreds to 3-digit numbers.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
