Welcome to 3M Fireflies’ Class Page

Our class teacher is Miss Moore and our assistant teachers are Mrs McMillan and Miss Dunstan. Miss Tovey teaches us on Friday afternoons.

We can’t wait to share our learning with you throughout the year!

Art: We have enjoyed creating Stone Age inspired art.

DT: Food - Eating Seasonally. We learnt where in the world our food comes from and designed and made seasonal savoury tarts. They were delicious!

Maths: we are measuring in metres (m) and centimetres (cm). It’s so much fun!

Science: we have investigated how water travels around plants by placing white flowers in coloured water. Look at our results!

Science: we dissected flowers to learn about the different parts flowers have and how pollination and fertilisation happens.
