New School Meals Provider

After many years of having children's meals made off site and delivered to school, we are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership for 2022-23. We have appointed Caterlink as our new school meals provider and we have worked with them to install a brand new production kitchen on site at Granby for the first time in our 130 year history. Starting from the autumn term, our new school chef and her team will be producing and serving delicious, nutricious food from our very own kitchen for children and staff to enjoy.

Ordering Your Child's Meal

Children's meals should be ordered and paid for in advance using the school's ParentMail system. Orders can be placed any time before midnight the day before a meal is required, but can be ordered up to three weeks in advance. Children who are eligible for Free School Meals, including Universal Infant Free School Meals, should order these in the same way but there will be no charge.  Please make sure you follow this simple system, as ordering meals on the day that they are needed is not possible except in an emergency.

Choice of Meal

Caterlink operate a three week rolling menu. Children can choose from a meat option, a vegetarian option or a jacket potato. Freshly baked bread and a salad bar are available to all children every day, as well as fruit-infused water from our 'hydration station'. The dessert also changes each day. Children are issued with a coloured band according to the meal ordered for them online [red for meat, green for vegetarian and yellow for jacket potato]. This ensures that every child gets the meal of their choice.

We will do our very best to accommodate children's special dietary requirements wherever possible. Please call and speak to one of our office team to discuss your child's individual needs and to request a copy of Caterlink's special dietary requirements form.
