Mini Breakfast Club [Nursery and Year 1] and Breakfast Club [Years 2 to 6] 

Breakfast club runs daily from 7:45am to 8:45am and costs £3.00 per child, per day.  Places should be paid for in advance via the online booking system. Once a place has been booked, it must be paid for regardless of whether the child attends or not. Children are provided with a range of hot and cold breakfast options, encouraging them to have an understanding of healthy eating. Once they have eaten, children are supervised during various activities.

Mini Camelot Care [Nursery and Year 1] and Camelot Care [Years 2 to 6] 

Camelot Care runs daily from the end of school until 5:30pm and costs £7.00 per child, per day. Places should be paid for in advance via the online booking system. Once a place has been booked, it must be paid for regardless of whether the child attends or not. Children are provided with a healthy snack each afternoon and fruit and drinks are available at all times. Children enjoy indoor and outdoor play, craft activities, support with homework and access to technology.

Availability

There are only a small number of places available at Breakfast Club and Camelot Care at the moment. A waiting list is in operation for our busiest times. If you are interested in using either of these service, please enquire at the school office.

Childcare Vouchers

Childcare Vouchers are a government-approved, tax-efficient way of paying for childcare. If you join a scheme, you can exchange up to £243 a month [£55 a week] of your gross salary for childcare vouchers. The part of your salary that you exchange for childcare vouchers is tax-free and exempt from National Insurance contributions. This allows for savings of up to £933 per parent per year on childcare provision. It doesn’t cost you anything to sign up for childcare vouchers and the scheme applies whatever rate of tax you pay. What’s more, both parents can request childcare vouchers, which means your family could save up to £1,866 a year!

You can use childcare vouchers to pay for a wide variety of childcare at Granby, including: Breakfast Club, Camelot Care and Extended Nursery for Nursery pupils. Granby works with all childcare voucher schemes, including Computershare, EdenRed, KiddiVouchers and Sodexo to name a few. To find out more, ask your employer whether they provide a childcare vouchers scheme and then contact the school office with the name of the scheme provider to start saving.
